Lately I’ve been trying different AI characters just to have something light to talk about in the evenings, but I keep noticing that many of them feel inconsistent once the conversation goes past the first few messages. At first everything seems smooth, but later the tone suddenly shifts or the replies ignore earlier details. I would really prefer a character who keeps a stable attitude and actually follows the path of the chat instead of jumping around.
