Our Story

Our story began when Scott died from a one punch attack. He left behind his mum and dad, partner and 4 year old daughter. The devastation caused by a friend, punching him hard when he wasn’t expecting it, caused him to lose his life by falling and hitting his head on the pavement. After 8 long months his family were able to lay him to rest, in the middle of the trial as his assailant, his friend, pleaded not guilty siting self-defence. The jury saw through his lies and he was found guilty and sentenced to 7.5 years in prison. His family , although devastated by the events of that night, are passionate to raise awareness of these needless one punch attacks, have set up this charity to raise awareness, educat people on the risks and alternatives and offer support for other families going through similar situations.
